Medina Weekday Nursery School
The Medina Weekday Nursery School is a nonprofit organization sponsored by the Medina United Methodist Church as a part of its ministries to children. Established in 1970, the school is Christian-oriented, but non-denominationally structured. The child has the opportunity to learn that each is a child of God and valued for his or her own unique beings.
Medina Weekday Nursery School is a developmental school whose primary purpose is to nourish the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in the child. This is achieved through guidance in an environment which encourages the child to explore, experiment and to discover his or her own creative potential. The child has the opportunity to gain a new security and independence apart from his or her home while interacting with many people who contribute to the child’s well-being. The child also learns to accept direction and to discover ways in which he or she can contribute to others.
Medina Weekday Nursery School is licensed by the State of Ohio. The classes are guided by qualified teachers who are certified in the areas of child development or early childhood education.
