The Campus Crusade for Christ was formed by Bill Bright in 1951 and since has grown into a multifaceted Christian organization with more than 16,000 full time workers worldwide winning souls for Christ on campuses and through a number of other ministries. One of the best known is the “Jesus” film which has been shown to three billion viewers around the world and is credited with bringing 170 million souls to Christ over the past 30 years. Each worker must generate his or her full support to work with the organization which is headquartered in Orlando, Florida.
Kathy Smith grew up in Medina and attended MUMC. She attended Ohio State University. She was brought to Christ while performing in the passion play, “Tetelestai”. Kathy recently published her first CD featuring her own piano compositions called "Daughter of the King".
